? All the terms are available individually in my store if you prefer to pay in installements - they contain the exact same classes, albeit minus the access to the weekly live streams.

Proportions is my first instance, I will come back with more attempts. Though, I printed it and sticked it right next to my desk, and has helped me a lot remember the proportions when I forget them. I will use this purely for proportions for now, as I transition to a more proper diagram in terms of anatomy soon.

First pic is from just before going on vacation. Next is after I returned. In the warmups I also did a practice through video guidance on a Riley head. Finally, gestures are of 90 seconds, since I hadnt drawn systematically gestures for many many days. Enjoy! Gosh I need to progress term 1

Heyo. After I returned, I had a very rough week, with me coughing blood and having to be hospitalized for couple days. Now Im back on track and healthy thankfully! I did progress on term 1, since I realized how slowly I am progressing on it. All left is a proportion diagram to practice ( I am using david finch's one, I like the musculature indications ), and im going straight into perspective section!

After I started doing some exercises again, I took up on one of term 2's head challenges in the server. As I drew, I came up with the idea of turning this into a bigger design, which became even bigger. I can admit that I craved drawing a mermaid for many months, but I also do adore the sea as a theme. And thus, I did a sketch of a fantasy mermaid, swimming through some underwater ruins. ( I think this took me aroung 6-7 consistent hours, including the long brainstorming ).

What was supposed to be 4h average per term (1h per class). Was kinda bumped up along the way to 8-12 hours per term on average. Then came the addition of the forum for students. and then livestream where Marc spends 3h each weekend with students going over assignments and personal work with paint-overs, tips/tricks and overall progress guidance.

The site describes Art School for Digital Artists, as your typical art school college curriculum, but with better classes. At a fraction of the cost from a regular college. I was a part of the first original group of students so I got to buy/signup upfront for a fraction of the coast. and every month or so a new term would be released. Terms were anywhere from 4-8 hours each. Now you can get all terms in one large bundle or individualy. The 10 "terms" included in the complete pack focus on digital arts in general. Giving you a great artistic base, like you would expect from any top colleges around the world. But without the irrelevant stuff and in a practical digital format you can watch on your own.

I'm happy to say I finally finished recording the content for the classes - something I've been working hard on for the last 2+ years. I'm lucky I've had a lot of students right from the start who have been following the program's development over the last years as I've been releasing it term by term. I might be done with the classes, but I still have a lot of big things planned for ART School! The cool part is that existing students get all future updates for free.

My curriculum was partly inspired by other existing curricula I dug up from some of the top art schools around the world, and partly - by my own personal experiences as an artist who's had the privilege of working in some of the best teams in the world. It was important for me to structure the classes logically, starting from more simple concepts to help complete beginners get started, and then building up to more advanced topics towards the later terms as students develop more advanced skills. I have a significant number of working professionals from most of the top AAA studios as students so it works for established artists too. Everyone's got holes in their fundamentals, so the program is relevant for all artists.

The program was built with a wide range of artists in mind, starting slow for beginners and ramping up to more advanced classes, for more advanced students. I highly recommend students (amateur or pro) follow the full program without skipping any of the content since it's all carefully connected, but I do have each of the individual terms available for purchase in the Cubebrush store for those who prefer purchasing them over time, rather than all at once. 2ff7e9595c
