Her main obsession after arriving in Steelport[4] is destroying The Syndicate, the loss of Johnny having affected her deeply and continues to do so for the rest of the game, prioritizing his revenge against Loren. As the Saints settle into Steelport, Shaundi becomes angry with how long it is taking to find and kill Phillipe Loren, and, when informed about Powder by Playa, she was threatening to burn it to the ground, much to Playa's surprise. When they get there, Pierce and Playa arguing about entering the place pushes Shaundi's patience to her limit and she quickly shoots the guards before leading the way to the back. Shaundi hacks the computer in the building to get the details, while Playa and Pierce deal with the Morningstar.[52] Afterwards, the three Saints return to the Saints HQ to load up on weapons before heading to the Syndicate Tower to kill Loren, proving successful thanks to Playa's quick thinking. Before they leave, Shaundi tells the crew that they should destroy the building to send a message, although Oleg Kirrlov reasons that keeping the building would be useful.[53]
In Saints Row: The Third, Playa has 7 different personalities.[Reference needed] Playa is portrayed as being, arguably, less susceptible to random bursts of violence, due to already having the power and wealth they desired.[Reference needed] In fact, the Saint's success in crushing the gangs of Stilwater and partnering with Ultor led to Playa's rise to celebrity status, complete with a Planet Saints franchise and movie offers.[57] They are still psychotic killers, as they show little emotion while killing other than excitement.[Reference needed] This is tempered by their loyalty to their fellow gang members, since Saints Row: the Third is mainly centered around them, Shaundi, and Pierce taking revenge after the death of Johnny Gat.[Reference needed] However, it seems that Playa is not entirely as merciless as before, agreeing to spare Matt Miller's life when the Decker's leader promises to cut ties with the Syndicate, as well as abandoning his role in the gang war and leaving Steelport, which Matt honors.[58] Despite having tendencies of a psychopath their loyalty to their friends and concern for their well-being is not a trait of psychopathic killers.

Some years after the events in Saints Row 2, the 3rd Street Saints became a household name in Stilwater and partnered up with the Ultor Corporation. This began in Saints Row 2, with the activities Fuzz, Trail Blazing and Crowd Control introducing Playa to entertainment industry figures, and his notoriety as a gang leader is enough that Stilwater pedestrians quickly recognize him and commented on his activities.
Playa meets with Viola, Shaundi and Pierce, and Viola reveals the best way to defeat Killbane is to unmask and humiliate him at Murderbrawl. Playa kills off Killbane's upcoming opponents in order for Playa to enter into Murderbrawl and face Killbane[136]. Using a RC Possessor to control vehicles, Playa uses them on cars, boats and a helicopter containing wrestlers to kill them and make it look like an accident[137], which leaves Playa as the last opponent for Killbane. After getting Angel's mask back at the 3 Count casino and taking it over for the Saints[138] Playa helps Angel defeat Killbane at Murderbrawl, humiliating him[139].
Nonetheless, Playa escapes with help from Kinzie and meets her and Keith as he escapes aboard a stolen Zin ship. But as they head back to Earth to gather reinforcements, Zinyak upholds his threat by destroying the planet. Determined to avenge the Earth, Playa goes back into the simulation to rescue the other Saints and find a way to get to Zinyak.[171] After saving the other saints with the help of C.I.D.,[172][173][51][174][175] Playa learns that Johnny Gat is still alive.[176] After being warned that rescuing Johnny will most likely reveal their location, Playa rescues Johnny from his personal nightmare of constantly losing Aisha and brings him to the ship.[177] After rescuing Johnny, Playa and his crew are ready to overload the simulation but is ambushed by Zinyak's army with Zinyak capturing Kinzie.[Reference needed] Playa then learns that Keith betrayed him and hid the MI6 agents in a closet to fool them in order to restore Earth.[Reference needed] Playa chases Keith David but is cornered by zen and was about to be killed until Keith pulled a heelface turn saving Playa.[Reference needed] With the help of Rowdy Roddy Piper, Playa saves Keith David and goes on to save Kinzie from the same 50s era nightmare he had been in before, where on the ship, she later punches him for mocking her in a poodle skirt.[Reference needed] Around the time after Playa rescues Matt Miller and to a point after he saves Kinzie, Playa does personal missions for the crew which gains them super powers similair to Playa.[Reference needed] With everyone rallyed, Playa leads a charge against Zinyak starting by overloading the simulation.[Reference needed] After the simulation is overloaded, Playa races to face Zinyak with power armor stolen from the Zin armory.[Reference needed]
Saints Row is the first installment in the series, having begun development in mid-2003 as a PlayStation 2 title under the name Bling Bling.[4] The game was announced at E3 2005 for the Xbox 360. It was supposed to also have a port to the Nintendo Wii. As the first non-linear gameplay-style video game to be released for the Xbox 360, Saints Row was widely anticipated; its pre-beta demo build set records after being downloaded nearly 400,000 times within a week.[5] It had sales in excess of 500,000 during its September 2006 release month, and was critically acclaimed. As of 2019, the game has had sales in excess of two million units.[6] The game was renowned for being the first seventh-generation sandbox game, and introduced features which have since become staples to the genre. It features online multiplayer, an in-game mobile phone, GPS navigation, elaborate character, vehicle customization, and a weapon wheel.[7][8]
Saints Row IV's first story-driven downloadable content pack, Enter the Dominatrix, is a "director's cut" version of the cancelled Saints Row: The Third expansion of the same name, and was released on 22 October 2013.[20] The story continues from the non-canonical ending of Saints Row: The Third, and depicts an alternate version of the Zin invasion. The second story DLC, How the Saints Save Christmas, was released on 10 December 2013. Its story revolves around the Saints' attempts to rescue Santa Claus from the Steelport simulation, with the Boss, who dislikes the holiday season, learning the true meaning of Christmas along the way.
In Saints Row IV, the game is again set in Steelport, however as a Matrix-like simulation created by the game's alien villain, Zinyak. To fit his likeness, Zinyak has removed almost all signs of the Saints from the city (for example, the Saints' own chain of clothing stores, Planet Saints, have been replaced with Planet Zin) and added images of himself and alien technology. Throughout the game, the player disrupts and eventually destroys the simulation in order to find and kill Zinyak. The fact this version of Steelport is set in a simulation allows for new gameplay mechanics like superpowers. It allows for references to past games: in some missions, characters from past games and gangs can appear in the city. An entertaining example is when the player has to kill the default character from the original Saints Row. The player is able to explore different simulations, such as when the player has to rescue the other main characters from their individual 'nightmare' simulations, based on the worst times in their lives to break them and make them surrender to the Zin. The only time the game takes place in the real world is at the start and end of the game and when the player is in the Zin facility or in The Ship, a stolen Zin spaceship which acts as the base for the Saints other than the player's simulation.
